A natural, plant-starch-based powder used to absorb oil and give a soft matte finish. Biodegradable and well tolerated — a clean alternative to silica or talc.
Corn Starch/Maltodextrin Crosspolymer is a crosslinked carbohydrate polymer built from corn starch and maltodextrin, used as a natural mattifying powder, texture enhancer, and oil absorbent. It is a favoured replacement for synthetic silica or nylon in natural/organic formulations, with full biodegradability. Starch and maltodextrin have long histories of food and cosmetic use; the crosspolymer is considered safe by CIR class assessments of starch derivatives. No GHS hazards.
