Ethyl 2,4-dicarboethoxy Pantothenate is a cosmetic ingredient used in product formulations. Exercise caution due to limited available safety data.
Ethyl 2,4-Dicarboethoxy Pantothenate is a doubly esterified pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) derivative listed on EU CosIng as a skin-conditioning agent. The ethyl ester of the carboxylic acid groups improves lipid solubility and skin penetration compared to panthenol. Pantothenic acid derivatives are widely used and well-tolerated in cosmetics. No EU Annex II or III restrictions apply. The dicarboethoxy substitution increases metabolic stability, prolonging the active vitamin B5 effect on skin.
